The movie is all about a girl named Mary, a nine-year-old child. Excitement is what she feel as she waits for her Uncle Albert to arrive. Upon arriving of her uncle, a enchanted nutcracker was given to her as a gift. During the Christmas Night, the nutcracker become real. Mary journeys the magical world of fairies, sugarplums and other toys we have during Christmas, all of the became real or come to life. Mary enjoyed the journey in the fantastical kingdom and as she stays and having fun, she suddenly realizes that the kingdom encounters problems and dangers from the evil Rat king, a tyrannical ruler together with his devious mother. The rule of Mary is to help the Nutcracker and save the kingdom from the evil plans of Rat King.
